A strange thought entered my head today. With the recent death of my TI-83, I've started thinking about high school. What was particularly prominent in my head about that era? MY BINDER. My oh-so-famous binder that became a symbol of obsessiveness and pragmatism. It was one of those zip-up Binders from Superstore and was always filled to the point where you could literally use it to kill a dog (I frequently threatened people with it). So where has that binder gone? That legendary binder that was the conduit of all my power.. the fabled artifact that would unite the Middle East, solve global warming, and take us all to the Promised Land when the time was due..? Frankly, I don't know. After going through my usual annual cycle of emptying out previous year's work and filling with fresh supplies, it occurred to me that I was going to University. I wouldn't need to have a 30 lbs pile of notes and handouts on my back all the time. So, I stashed away my old notes somewhere in the abyssal depths of my house and the binder managed to evade my attention just long enough for me to forget about it until now. Maybe one day when I'm the leader of my own city-state, I'll lead an international campaign to find that binder. The world's nations will unite under a common flag and embark on an epic journey to find That Which Was Taken.
Oh wait, there it is. It's sitting on my shelf... Ah, well never mind then. Back to work.
